In
present, we are slowly moving back to the working at office system after
pandemic and economic crisis but the home office isn’t about to shut down. From
small company to large worldwide conglomerates, plan to implement some hybrid
form for their work because of the success of remote working and to keep the
engagement between the employees.
Both
employees and employers have found arguments to consider remote work, and
especially working from home, as a worthy competitor to traditional on-site
work. Although many
see remote work
as beneficial, especially
because it offers
more flexibility to both sides, there are some visible and hidden
drawbacks related to human, social and organizational factors. However, lessons
learned will help individuals and organizations align their preferences and
capabilities with the challenges of remote work, such as the need for social
contacts and the means to maintain them, with the benefits of more flexible
arrangements that allow for a better work-life balance (Sokolic, 2022).
For
any work environment whose stakeholders intend to transcend the expectation of
the constantly evolving workplace, the future of work should be a priority.
Although some countries have relaxed the lockdown in their states, businesses
are taking their time to set up a more formidable work arrangement. Many are
already operating the hybrid system while others are running fully remote. The
pandemic has taught the workplace a lesson of preparation and planning and
given the reality check to keep up with the technological and management related
advancements to ensure productivity and growth. Beyond that is also the lesson
of flexibility and adaptability in the workplace. In prioritizing the future of
work, there is the need to embrace the hybrid workplace model. Indeed, the
future of work would likely be the hybrid workplace model (Iqbal et al., 2021).
Well
known organizations are adapting Unique Hybrid Work model as the best solution
for this situation. It is highly recommended that this model should be adapted
by every Organization. This model helps the employees to work from the comfort
of their home. The employees are saved from the infection and also they are in
a position to contribute and be more productive for the organization (Lenka,
2021).
The
hybrid work model contributes to positivity, efficiency and variation of work
for sustaining a sense of mixed work techniques among office changes. Nowadays,
many organizations are hurriedly adopting different flexible work-from-home
policies, and a hybrid work environment is absolutely necessary. Furthermore,
the findings of this study suggest that the advantages of the hybrid e-work model
extend to the office as well. Organizations are responsible for finding a work
model that yields the best remote and on-site work and provides experiences of
positivity, effectiveness and flexibility (Beno, 2021).

I agree with you. Organizations are being more creative and becoming employee friendly. apart from hybrid model some organizations even succeeded at providing 4 day work week. This could have an impact on organizations health in the long run as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting Rahman. According to Gartner (2013), “where and when work gets done will be determined by what makes the most sense to drive the highest levels of productivity and engagement.”

DeleteGood Post Manula, It is crucial to discuss the reasons behind the necessity for a hybrid arrangement before discussing how the hybrid work system has evolved. Entrepreneurship acts as a focal point for the investigation of the development of the hybrid system at work because many enterprises are using digital marketing to spread their reach across national boundaries. Many entrepreneurs today have an advantage because to digitalization, which has allowed them to accomplish things that formerly seemed inconceivable years ago (La Porta, 2021).
ReplyDeleteHighly relevant topic Manula, With digitalization becoming more normalized across every sphere in the global village. Every workplace needs to maximize and transcend obstacles and innovations to ease into the hybrid workplace (Iqbaal and Farooq, 2021). The COVID-19 pandemic brought a wave for an increased need for a hybrid workplace. Although some countries have relaxed the lockdown in their states, businesses are taking their time to set up a more formidable work arrangement.
